Senior Enterprise Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Enterprise Project Manager based in United States.

This senior-level role leads complex, enterprise-wide initiatives within a healthcare environment, supporting strategic, clinical, operational, regulatory, and technology priorities. You will work closely with executive sponsors, clinical and operational leaders, technology teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-impact programs from initiation through completion. The position provides broad ownership across project scope, governance, budgets, timelines, resources, risks, communications, and implementation. You will play a key role in facilitating decisions, removing barriers, and driving accountability across teams without relying on direct authority. The role also encompasses change management, training coordination, go-live readiness, and transition into ongoing operations. Strong executive communication and healthcare project management expertise will be essential to navigating complex priorities and delivering sustainable outcomes. Accountabilities
  • Lead complex, enterprise-wide projects from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and patient care priorities.
  • Define and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, governance structures, risks, issues, dependencies, communications, and success measures.
  • Partner with executive sponsors, clinical and operational leaders, information services, finance, compliance, quality, vendors, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project decision-making, remove barriers, resolve conflicts, escalate risks appropriately, and maintain accountability across project teams.
  • Coordinate implementation planning, change management, training activities, go-live readiness, operational transition, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Develop clear and timely project communications, including executive status reports, presentations, meeting materials, project updates, and lessons learned.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve delivery, mitigate risks, and maintain alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Manage competing priorities and ensure project milestones, deliverables, and financial objectives remain on track.
  • Build strong working relationships across clinical, operational, technical, and corporate functions to ensure effective project execution.
  • Mentor project team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of enterprise project management methodologies, standards, and practices.
  • Support project portfolio management, reporting, dashboards, collaboration tools, and other mechanisms that improve enterprise visibility and decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, information systems, a clinical discipline, project management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive project management experience, including responsibility for complex, cross-functional, enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Significant experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, resources, governance, communications, and change management.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, patient privacy, quality improvement, and information systems.
  • Healthcare project management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, presentation, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with senior leaders, clinical teams, operational stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and other partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and drive accountability.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives and competing deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with project portfolio management, reporting, and dashboard tools is preferred.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or a similar professional certification is preferred.
  • Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Arkansas, California, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Tennessee, Texas, or Wyoming.
