Position Summary: At Tru & Home2 Suites by Hilton, you are Free to be You with Tru Spirit! Our Housekeeping Team brings energy, teamwork and real warmth to every shift, keeping our hotel fresh, clean and welcoming so guests feel right at home. As Housekeeping Manager, you’ll lead the team behind every spotless room and sparkling lobby at our brand-new hotel. You’ll hire, train and motivate your team, set the standard for cleanliness and run an efficient operation, from guest rooms and public areas to laundry and back-of-house spaces. You lead by example, notice every detail and aren’t afraid to jump in when the team needs you. When something goes wrong, you don’t pass it along. You find a solution and make it right. What You Will Do:
- Lead, hire, train and coach the housekeeping and laundry teams to deliver exceptional cleanliness and service that meets Hilton brand standards.
- Build a positive team culture that is friendly, respectful, ethical and hardworking, where team members feel supported, take pride in their work and hold each other to high standards.
- Lead pre-opening activities, including setting up housekeeping and laundry operations, ordering supplies and equipment, and training the opening team.
- Develop cleaning schedules, room assignments and staff schedules based on occupancy for guest rooms, public areas (including the rooftop pool, bar and fitness center), laundry and back-of-house spaces, balancing guest needs with labor costs.
- Manage extended-stay service, including regular cleaning, linen exchanges, deep cleaning and suite kitchens, and check in with long-term guests to make sure their needs are met.
- Inspect rooms and public areas regularly, and monitor guest feedback and cleanliness scores to drive improvements.
- Manage lost-and-found procedures and guest requests related to housekeeping.
- Monitor guest feedback and cleanliness scores and turn the results into action plans and improvements.
- Coordinate with the front desk, maintenance and other departments on room status, repairs and operational needs.
- Manage the housekeeping budget, including labor, supplies and linen costs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, chemical safety (SDS), health and sanitation regulations.
- Handle guest requests, concerns and lost-and-found, and coordinate with the front desk and maintenance on room status and repairs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by hotel leadership.

- At least 3+ years housekeeping management experience in hotel housekeeping and/or extended stay properties, Hilton brand preferred
- Hotel opening or pre-opening experience a plus
- Experience leading mid-sized teams, including hiring, training, scheduling and conducting performance reviews
- Strong conflict resolution skills, with the ability to handle team member and guest concerns calmly, fairly and professionally
- Experience with coaching, corrective action and documentation in partnership with HR
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, sanitation practices and commercial cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of safety regulations for housekeeping, laundry and custodial operations
- Experience managing laundry systems, linen inventory and chemical supplies
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain high standards and guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and tact
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs on a regular basis
- Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, pushing and pulling (e.g., carts, linens, furniture)
- Ability to lift, pull and carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work around cleaning chemicals and commercial laundry equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed
