Senior Business Analyst Oracle R12 & Enterprise Applications

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst – Oracle R12 & Enterprise Applications in the United States.

This role is a key contributor within a complex enterprise technology environment, responsible for bridging business needs with Oracle R12 system capabilities and broader enterprise applications. The position focuses on analyzing, documenting, and optimizing business processes across multiple ERP domains while ensuring high-quality delivery of functional solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and QA groups to translate requirements into actionable specifications and drive successful implementation outcomes. The role requires strong analytical and technical skills, particularly in SQL and Oracle modules, to support data-driven decision-making and system improvements. Operating in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, you will also contribute to testing, production support, and continuous process enhancement. This is a highly collaborative role with significant exposure to enterprise-scale systems and cross-functional teams.

Accountabilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements across enterprise application environments, ensuring alignment with Oracle R12 capabilities and organizational needs.
  • Translate stakeholder input into detailed functional specifications, process flows, and technical documentation to guide development and implementation efforts.
  • Support Oracle ERP modules including P2P, OTC, Inventory, WIP, BOM, and Project Accounting through analysis, configuration support, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and support UAT, integration testing, and defect tracking activities.
  • Perform SQL-based data extraction and analysis to support reporting, validation, and business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to support application enhancements, production issue resolution, and release activities.
  • Create process documentation, training materials, and end-user support guides to ensure smooth adoption of systems and processes.
  • Participate in change management activities and support multiple concurrent projects with strong prioritization and delivery focus.
Requirements
  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications, ideally in large-scale ERP environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle R12, including functional knowledge of key ERP modules such as P2P, OTC, Inventory, WIP, BOM, or Project Accounting.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and validation purposes.
  • Strong experience in business process mapping, requirements documentation, and functional specification writing.
  • Experience with testing methodologies, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking across multiple environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise application ecosystems including SaaS, PaaS, and multi-tier architectures.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field required.
  • Experience with tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Power Automate is preferred.
  • Entertainment or media industry experience is a plus.
