Core Responsibilities:
  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Achieves financial objectives as it relates to staffing, supplies, and carriers.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training employees.
  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Manage a team of 6+ managers, supervisors, and leads.
  • Supervise a staff off 70+ associates
  • Oversee the operation of 1 facilities as well as communicate with multiple 3PL’s.
  • Recruits, interview, hire, and trains new staff
  • Update SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) wherever necessary
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Assist with any audit whenever necessary
  • Training of staff and adherence to company policies
Skills and Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least two years related experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with warehousing programs required. SAP/ERP/WM/Master Data abilities strongly preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Experience with Excel highly desirable
  • Experience with Omni Channel preferred
  • Experience with drop ship, wholesale (majors), e-commerce
  • Knowledge of customer/vendor Compliance
  • Experience running a multiple facility operation, supervising 75+ employees with multiple shifts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must be extremely organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish highly desirable
Salary Range:

$80,000 - $100,000

Actual base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and relevant job & industry experience.

Location

This position will report to the Director of Distribution and will be working on-site at our Fullerton, CA office.
