SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

This position greets visitors, answers a multi-line phone system, and directs calls to appropriate department/personnel. Creates an environment that promotes a feeling of importance in every customer. Will perform the following tasks in a way that reflects H&R Agri-Power’s mission to provide quality products/service at a fair price to afford a reasonable return on assets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Answer phones in a courteous and polite manner, direct to the appropriate department/personnel as needed.
  2. Greet incoming customers with a smile and escort to the appropriate department.
  3. Pay close attention to customer’s needs and take reasonable measurements to ensure complete satisfaction.
  4. Receive USPS mail; sort and distribute appropriately.
  5. Maintain and file documents and invoices.
  6. Regularly operate standard office equipment (ex. Fax machine, copier)
  7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception area and sales floor.
  8. Maintain a positive, professional, and safe work environment by interacting with customers, peers, management and support resources in a way that promotes teamwork and a commitment to excellence.
  9. Complete all other tasks as assigned by leadership.
Requirements:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1+ years in customer service.
  • Familiar with working on a computer for work-related purposes.
  • Familiarity with farm equipment/agriculture a plus, but not a requirement.
