Host in Naples, Florida at Windstar on Naples Bay

We are a member a member-owned private club located on Naples Bay, 5 minutes from 5th Ave in downtown Naples. We have 350 full golf members with a wait list and 275 social members. The clubhouse is two stories, 40,000 sf in a non-bundled gated community. Amenities include 18 hole Tom Fazio golf course, pro shop, bayside practice facilities, fitness/wellness, tennis, two a la carte restaurants, a robust calendar of events, and private wine lockers. The community features 72 slip deep water marina, and a private beach on Keewaydin Island with a 40-passenger pontoon shuttle for transport. The clubhouse was renovated in 2023 to reflect the coastal lifestyle. The Food & Beverage revenues exceed $2.4M, derived from a la carte dining, private member parties and member-sponsored banquets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Assist guests with any special requests or accommodations
• Manage waitlist and reservations efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
• Answer phone calls and handle guest inquiries
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth dining experience
• Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or complaints
• Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in guest relations, customer service, or hospitality preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
