Job Description
OCH Technologies is seeking a Systems Analyst for a position supporting an FAA program. This position provides systems analysis, systems administration, hardware lifecycle management, and inventory support for the program. The role is responsible for managing the program depot inventory, supporting equipment procurement and deployment, maintaining asset tracking systems, and ensuring configuration items are properly documented and baselined. The position also provides systems administration support to the engineering team, assisting with the daily administration and maintenance of infrastructure systems.
This role is part of a proposal effort.

Hybrid- FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor, NJ
Core Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide product evaluation and recommendations for procurement of system hardware, software, and equipment spares and replacements to maintain program projects.
- Conduct organizational and depot level logistics support for program projects.
- Provide planning, coordination, and oversight of equipment deployments, including developing deployment plans before scheduled deployments.
- Create and maintain logistics records (shipping documentation, procurement documentation, vendor support warranty) within the program ticketing and asset tracking system.
- Create and maintain an equipment database for hardware, software, warranties, licenses, spares, and replacements.
- Manage hardware and software warranties and create/submit warranty claims to vendors, including developing warranty failure reports following an incident.
- Provide quarterly organizational and depot level status reports.
- Define, manage, and track all designated Configuration Items (CIs) within program infrastructure, including: Hardware, Software.
- Ensure configuration compliance with CIS security guidelines and best practices, except where FAA security policy deviates.
- Conduct regular configuration audits to verify the actual state of CIs against documented baselines and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain and coordinate spare parts inventory to support rapid replacement of failed components and minimize downtime.
- Provide hardware lifecycle management support including installation, upgrades, replacement of components, and identification of end of life/end of support equipment.
- Assist the engineering team with systems administration tasks including server builds, OS patching, user account management, and routine system maintenance.
- Support the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux and Windows servers and associated infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and assist engineers with capacity planning, performance tuning, and incident response.
- Perform routine administrative tasks such as backup verification, log review, and access control management.
Responsibilities may evolve over time to support team and organizational goals, but will remain consistent with the overall scope of the role.
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Math or related field
Experience:
- A minimum of five (5)+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in systems analysis, hardware lifecycle management, and IT logistics/inventory management
- Demonstrated ability to manage asset tracking systems and equipment databases
- Experience with configuration management processes including baselining, version control, and change management
- Knowledge of IT hardware components including servers, network devices, storage systems, and associated cabling
- Experience creating and maintaining procurement and logistics documentation
- Familiarity with CIS security guidelines and configuration compliance
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Experience working in and supporting Linux (RHEL 9) environments
- Experience administering windows server environments
- Experience with VMware virtualization platforms
Security Clearance Requirement:
Candidate must have the ability to hold and maintain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior government contracting experience, particularly supporting FAA, DoD, DHS, or other federal agencies
- Familiarity with NIST standards and federal IT asset management requirements
- Experience with depot level logistics operations
- ITIL Foundation or similar service management certification
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification
Other Required Skills and Abilities
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
