Key Account Manager Lead - REMOTE

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Head of Key Account Management. In this pivotal role, you will lead the Key Account Management team for Latin America, empowering high-value partnerships and driving significant revenue growth. Your strategic vision will shape the long-term relationships with our most crucial merchants, ensuring they thrive in the global market. This is an opportunity to play a central role in a high-impact function, working collaboratively across departments to optimize client success while fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
Accountabilities
  • Lead and develop the Key Account Management LATAM team, setting strategic goals and driving overall performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key merchants, elevating the quality of every client interaction
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and leveraging market and competitive insights
  • Define and execute account strategies focused on long-term client retention and expansion
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Tech, Finance, Legal, and Operations
  • Use data and analytics to inform decision-making, track performance, and optimize outcomes
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering continuous improvement and accountability
  • Act as an executive escalation point for strategic accounts, ensuring issues are resolved with urgency and precision
Requirements
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required
  • 5+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Client Success, or Relationship Management, preferably in payments or fintech
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams with international clients
  • Strong understanding of payment technologies, financial services, and industry regulations
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and structured problem-solving
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
