Registered Nurse, Circulator-Surgery ($20,000 Sign-on Bonus) at Trinity Health System – Steubenville, Ohio

JOB SUMMARY:
The Med/Surg Registered Nurse provides general nursing care to patients in a hospital setting. This position provides, delegates, coordinates and evaluates patient care through the collaborative efforts of health care members and in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practice.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care or service based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria.
2. Evaluates nursing care by reassessment of patient on a continual basis to determine if plan of care is adequate or requires change.
3. Demonstrates effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
4. Establishes realistic, measurable goals which are based on identified problems.
5. Initiates and follows through with the appropriate nursing action to meet the identified care goals.
6. Accepts and performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current licensure by State Board of Nursing.

2. Qualified in CPR, ACLS, PALS preferred.
3. Telemetry experience preferred.

4. MUST HAVE OR EXPERIENCE.
