Monitor Technician- 4 North Cardiovascular Care Unit at Cookeville Regional Medical Center – Cookeville, Tennessee

The Monitor Technician is responsible for the constant monitoring of the telemetry system on the Intermediate Care Units, Medical/Surgical remote telemetry, and who assumes responsibility for clerical and receptionist functions on the unit. The monitor technician accepts and maintains responsibility for the clerical and documentation duties related to telemetry monitoring, as well as, communicating monitored changes to the appropriate nursing unit and staff. Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. BLS current or within first 90 days of employment. Basic arrhythmia course current or successfully completed within the orientation period.
