POSITION: Production Manager

LOCATION: Middletown, PA

CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Exempt

HOURS: 8am to 4:30pm (Monday-Friday)

PAY: Starting Range DOE $90,000-$100,000.

What You’ll Do

As a Production Manager you are responsible for ensuring the seamless functioning of all production lines and special projects while maintaining the highest quality standards. Your expertise in production procedures and managing employees will be essential as you guide and motivate personnel to achieve peak performance. As a leader, your decision-making and problem-solving abilities will be crucial in navigating the challenges of daily operations. The goal is to establish an efficient and productive process that not only meets but exceeds the department goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  1. Promotes a safe work environment and ensures safety is communicated and enforced at all levels of responsibility within the production team
  2. Manages the Production Supervisors in Corporate and production employees
  3. Strives for continuous improvement and operational excellence in personnel, processes, and the effectiveness of the overall operation
  4. Drives problem solving and root cause analysis to understand gaps in performance and acts to correct identified issues
  5. Responsible for ensuring the facility is appropriately staffed to safely achieve production metrics
  6. Responsible for Supervisor development, providing the support and tools to achieve their full leadership potential
  7. Drives overall facility performance and teamwork through collaboration
  8. Work with Operations Manager and COO to establish, and aid in the production of, an appropriate set of KPI’s and metrics to report on performance
  9. Ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to quality standards
  10. Establish labor budget and weekly personnel schedules
  11. Develop production schedules; weekly, quarterly
  12. Responsible for achieving production targets established by management while ensuring accuracy of all production and labor reporting
  13. Manage all material inventories in the FRB
  14. Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a hands-on leader who can balance people management with process improvement and operational oversight.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent, relevant work experience.
  • Proven transformational leadership and change management skills are a must.
  • Minimum 10+ years as proven leader who excels at managing and developing teams, driving accountability through clear KPIs, and implementing process and systems improvements that enhance throughput, quality, and overall operational performance.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects amid changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and produce outstanding results.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
  • Ability to dissect and determine root causes of problems and implement solutions.
