About the role
The Senior Account Strategist plays a critical role in driving the performance and strategic direction of client marketing programs. This position is responsible for owning the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies, translating client goals into actionable plans, and ensuring that performance outcomes align with business objectives.
This role represents a shift from contributing to strategy to actively shaping it. The Senior Account Strategist is expected to lead client conversations, guide cross-functional execution, and consistently translate data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
The ideal candidate is both analytical and client-facing, with the ability to connect performance metrics to broader business impact. They are confident leading conversations, mentoring junior team members, and navigating complex client needs with clarity and structure.
What you'll do
Client Leadership & Communication
Serve as a primary client contact, leading communication, planning discussions, and performance reviewsBuild strong, trust-based relationships through strategic guidance and consistent deliveryLead client meetings, including performance reviews, strategic planning sessions, and quarterly business reviewsManage client expectations and proactively address questions, challenges, or opportunitiesStrategic Ownership & Performance
Own the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies aligned with client goalsTranslate performance data into clear insights, recommendations, and optimization plansIdentify opportunities to improve campaign performance and drive measurable resultsEnsure alignment between strategy, execution, and business outcomesAccount & Project Leadership
Oversee timelines, workflows, and deliverables across accounts, ensuring consistency and quality Lead the full lifecycle of complex marketing initiatives from initial discovery and strategic inception through to final execution and reporting, ensuring all deliverables meet high-quality standards and client objectives.Support budget pacing and ensure alignment between scope and executionProactively identify risks and develop solutions to keep work on trackSimultaneously oversee a diverse portfolio of workstreams, effectively prioritizing tasks and managing resources in a fast-paced environment to meet rigorous deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with media, creative, SEO, public relations, social media and analytics teams to ensure cohesive strategy and executionDevelop clear briefs that translate strategy into actionable direction for internal teamsEnsure feedback is effectively communicated and implemented across all teamsTeam Support & Mentorship
Provide guidance and mentorship to Account Coordinators and Account StrategistsSupport onboarding and development of junior team membersLead by example in communication, organization, and strategic thinkingQuality Assurance & Delivery
Ensure all deliverables are accurate, insight-driven, and aligned with client expectationsMaintain high standards of quality across all outputs and communicationsWhat You Bring
Bachelor’s degree required6 to 8 years of experience in digital marketing, account management, or related fieldAgency experience preferredStrong experience managing multi-channel digital campaignsExperience working with ecommerce and/or B2B clients is a plusWorking knowledge of digital marketing channels, including owned media (SEO & GEO), paid media (search, social, and programmatic), Email & SMS, and more.Hands-on experience with paid media platforms is strongly preferredCore Skills & Competencies
Strong strategic thinking and ability to connect marketing efforts to business outcomesAdvanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into insightsExcellent client communication and presentation skillsStrong organizational and project management capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in complex environmentsCollaborative mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional teamsMentorship and leadership capabilitiesExperience with tools and ad platforms, including HubSpot, WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Meta Ads, ClickUp, etc., is a plusHands-on experience with paid media platforms is strongly preferredWhy Join Us
