Responsibilities

• Professionally and courteously greet clinic patients arriving for appointments
• Answer and operate a multi-line telephone system
• Schedules appointments
• Enter and update patient information into database
• Call insurance companies to obtain pre-authorization for various services and procedures
• Receive payment and co-payment for services performed in the clinic

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal capabilities, including empathy and compassion
• Ability to think critically, analyze information and solve problems as they arise
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and use good judgment
