Fragrance R&D Coordinator at Arylessence Inc – Marietta, Georgia

As a member of the Fragrance Team, the Fragrance R&D Coordinator provides essential operational and administrative support to the Scent Design and Perfumery teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, organized environment and has a passion for learning the creative and technical aspects of fragrance development.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for setting up the evaluation booths to assist Scent Design Managers and Perfumers in facilitating testing for customer projects.
• Maintain the market library by logging new products into the tracking spreadsheet and properly cataloging them in the market room.
• Pull fragrance oils from the Kardex system to support Scent Design Managers, the Applications Lab, and Perfumers in sample preparation and project execution.
• Maintain fragrance databases, fragrance libraries, and evaluation records.
• Provide assistance in key aspects of R&D throughout the facility as needs arise or as workflow indicates.

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Chemistry or a related field preferred.
• Experience in fragrance, cosmetics, consumer products, or lab work is a plus.
• Must pass sensory smell test.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• High attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Interest in fragrance, product development, or sensory evaluation.
