Warehouse Receiving Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Warehouse Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments. This role ensures that all items are received in good condition and match the purchase orders. The clerk works closely with the inventory and procurement teams to maintain accurate records and support warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

- Verify items against purchase orders and packing slips.

- Document discrepancies and communicate with suppliers or procurement team.

- Label and organize received items for storage or distribution.

- Maintain accurate records of received goods in inventory system.

- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.

- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean receiving area.

Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in warehouse or receiving operations preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.

Physical Requirements- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).

- Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
