Welding Supervisor at Midwest Compressor Systems – Pampa, Texas

Midwest Compressor Systems is seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Supervisor to lead our fabrication team. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality welding operations that meet ASME standards while fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment. • Supervise and coordinate daily welding and fabrication operations.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, and API codes.
• Review and enforce Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Inspect welds and coordinate with QA/QC for NDT and documentation.
• Train and evaluate welders on techniques, safety, and code requirements.
• Promote and enforce OSHA safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of welding activities and certifications.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and improve processes.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of welding and supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and ASME codes.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass MVR, background check, and drug screen.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
