About The Role:
- At Lendmarq, the Senior Accountant plays a key role in supporting the financial backbone of our growing private credit platform. This position partners with leadership to ensure accurate reporting, strong accounting controls, and a seamless flow of financial information across the organization. We’re looking for a detail-driven professional with a passion for private credit, fund accounting, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, including unit economics, departmental and organizational budgets, and actual expenditures
- Work with the Accounting team to ensure that financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring and reporting are being met
- Work with the Accounting team to close the books monthly and consolidate all entities as needed
- Participate in ongoing expense management and reporting to the management team. Also assisting with the accounts payable process.
- Working with our tax team for tax preparation services and participating in tax strategy efforts. Also assisting with the preparation and distribution of 1099s to relevant contractors
- Preparation and review of monthly incentive calculations for commission-based employees
- Working closely with our auditors to prepare audited financial statements
- Monthly reporting to our investors as determined by our operating agreements
- Conform with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with GAAP for investment funds and portfolio company accounting
- Proficiency with accounting and reporting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, or fund administration platforms)
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills for analysis and reporting
- Experience supporting audit preparation, investor reporting, and capital call processes
- Relevant experience at an Ad firm or in the real estate industry is a plus.
