About This Position
The Senior Accountant role presents an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic accounting team at Elevate ENT Partners. This position plays a key role in supporting the Company’s financial reporting and accounting operations, with primary responsibility for the month-end close process. The Senior Accountant will partner closely with the Accounting Manager and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, support audit activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen internal controls and scalability. Essential Job FunctionsMonthly Close and Financial Reporting
• Ensure all general ledger transactions are properly documented, reviewed and recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including accruals, reclassifications, and other required adjusting entries to support accurate financial statements.
• Maintain ownership of accounting entries and reconciliations related to leases, fixed assets, debt interest expense and related issuance costs, goodwill, intangibles, payroll, and prepaid expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Prepare journal entries related to corporate expense chargebacks, ensuring proper classification, accuracy, and timely recognition.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts, investigating and resolving variances in a timely manner.
• Conduct monthly analytical reviews to identify trends, inconsistencies, or unusual fluctuations and communicate findings to the respecting departments for proper adjustments and resolutions.
Additional Responsibilities
• Assist with the development, documentation, and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal in accordance with U.S. GAAP requirements.
• Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting operations.
• Participate in departmental initiatives and cross-functional projects, including system enhancements, integrations, or reporting improvements.
• Handle special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
Required Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation strongly preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, with demonstrated experience applying U.S. GAAP principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with complex spreadsheets, and formulas.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
