Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist I to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that all purchases are made in a timely and cost-effective manner. The Purchasing Specialist I will work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure that all purchases meet the needs of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Ensure that all purchases are made in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all purchases and related documentation
- Assist with the development and implementation of purchasing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in purchasing

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with purchasing software
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices
