Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our staff at the Osceola Medical Center located in Osceola, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the Area: Osceola, MO is located along the banks of Truman Lake and conveniently located along Highway 13 providing a small town atmosphere with a central location to many of Missouri’s attractions. Osceola offers some of the best hunting and fishing in Missouri. Clinton, MO is located 30 minutes to the North, and Bolivar, MO is 30 minutes to the south. Both of these cities are located along Highway 13. Osceola is home to the famous Osceola Cheese Factory which is a stop for many traveling through Osceola. Sugarfoot BBQ is a staple restaurant of the community to enjoy good BBQ with family and friends. Adventures and free spirited people have traveled though this area, and some have remained to call Osceola their home.

About the department: Our services include family medicine, well-baby examinations, immunizations and injections, gynecological examinations for women, annual physicals for adults, X-rays, laboratory services, minor office procedures, preventative medicine, and disease management.

A typical day includes: The Registered Nurse will play a vital role in patient assessment, care coordination, and education while ensuring high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

• Verifies and documents patient allergies, pharmacy, medications, and health histories as required by visit intake.
• Administration of medications via PO, IM, SQ, ID, INH routes. IV if IV certified LPN or RN
• Screening assessments include, but not limited to: suicide, depression, substance abuse, fall risk, memory, cognition, vision and hearing

Job Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
• Experience: Previous clinical or health care experience preferred.
• Skills:Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with EMR systems preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Active Missouri RN Nursing license
• Physical: ability to stand and be mobile 90 % of the day and working at a computer the remaining 10%

The position is: PRN, Tuesday & Friday/8:00am - 5:00pm
