Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN, LVN) to care for our patients in our Medical Surgical department!

The Med/Surg unit is a fast-paced, well-rounded department. They are a tight-knit group who provide care for both medical and surgical patients. Patients receiving orthopedic surgery are commonly cared for in our department, but we also care for patients receiving a variety of gynecological, urological, and abdominal procedures. Medical patients present with a variety of illnesses including: sepsis, UTIs, pneumonia, wound care, COPD, CHF, and so much more. The nurse to patient ratio is typically 1:6 with a tech to assist.

A typical day will include: assessing patients and administering medication, working closely with our providers to generate a plan for the day and for discharge, admitting and discharging as the shift progresses, and working with a great team of upbeat nursing staff and providers.

The position is: Nights, Full-time

Job Requirements:

• Education: Associates
• Skills: Patient care experience
• License: LPN,LVN
