About This Position

Description:

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Sunnyhill Inc. | Fenton, MO | Full-Time, Salaried

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000/year (based on experience and qualifications)

You got into this field because the work matters to you. The assessments, the plans, the moments when something clicks for a client. That’s what keeps you going.

At Sunnyhill, we’ve built a place where you can focus on that work. You’ll develop behavior support plans, coach and supervise your clinical team, and collaborate with individuals who are counting on your expertise. Your clinical judgment matters here, and you’ll feel that in how we structure caseloads, support supervision, and make decisions.

What It’s Like Here

We know every organization says they have a great culture. But we verify this continually: our RBTs rate their relationships with BCBA supervisors at 3.6 to 3.7 out of 4.0 on internal satisfaction surveys, and that number has held steady across three consecutive quarters.

That kind of consistency takes intention. It means BCBAs here have the time and support to supervise well. It means when something isn’t working, we talk about it and fix it together.

Sunnyhill is an established organization serving children, adolescents, and adults with autism and related developmental disabilities. The work is meaningful and complex. The team around you is experienced and collaborative. And we genuinely care about getting it right for the people we serve.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop individualized Behavior Support Plans for children, adolescents, and adults with autism and related developmental disabilities.

• Train, coach, and supervise RBTs, BCaBAs, and Direct Support Professionals on behavior change procedures, skill acquisition programs, and data collection.

• Analyze data and adjust plans based on what the numbers show.

• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, psychiatrists, and other professionals to keep care coordinated and person-centered.

• Attend and contribute to client-centered meetings as a core part of each client’s team.

• Complete progress notes, monthly reports, and recommendation letters that reflect the real clinical picture.

• Maintain compliance with BACB standards, Missouri Behavior Analyst Advisory Board guidelines, DMH requirements, and insurance documentation.

What We Offer

Salaried position with predictable income. No billable-hour guesswork.

$2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment.

27 billable hours per week across client-facing sessions, caregiver training, and treatment planning. We build caseloads so you have real time to ensure quality outcomes.

Autonomy over your weekly schedule. Beyond recurring team meetings, you manage your own calendar.

Administrative support. Your operations manager handles billing, staff scheduling, and audits, so you can focus on clinical work.

Geographically centered caseloads to minimize drive time between clients.

Clinical mentorship from the Director of ABA. You’ll meet one-on-one at least twice a month for individualized clinical support, tailored to your strengths and growth areas.

Bi-weekly analyst team meetings with open clinical discussion among BCBAs, BCaBAs, and PLBAs.

6 hours of internal CEU training per month led by our Senior BCBA, tailored to staff needs and professional development.

Paid MOABA conference attendance.

Paid Mandt System training and CPR/First Aid training.

401(k) retirement plan. You can begin contributing from day one. Up to 4% employer match after one year.

PTO from the start. 20 hours available after your initial training period, plus ongoing accrual beginning day one.

Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, and vision. Sunnyhill covers 100% of employee dental premiums.

Mileage reimbursement at the state rate. $40/month cell phone reimbursement.

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.

• National Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

• Licensure as a Behavior Analyst in Missouri (or eligibility for licensure).

• Minimum 1 year of experience providing services to individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities.

• Experience with verbal behavior assessment and skill-based curriculum design preferred.

• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and the ability to travel between client locations.

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds as part of the daily work with clients.

• Acceptable background checks (two at hire, one annually).

Not yet certified?

We welcome applications from PLBAs and graduate students in accredited programs who are actively completing supervision hours toward BCBA certification.

If you’re looking for a place where the clinical work is respected, the supervision is strong, and the team is invested in doing right by the people we serve, we’d love to hear from you.
