Senior Litigator, with an emphasis on Discovery

Los Angeles based plaintiff-side law firm is hiring a senior level litigator (7+ years) to lead its class-action firm in managing discovery. Litigation experience in employment, wage & hour, class actions, or consumer litigation, and managerial responsibility for cases, junior associates, or contract attorneys is preferred.
Candidates for this position should have a superior academic background (e.g. top 20 law school, law review, or other academic honors), and either experience with a major defense firm or a successful plaintiff's shop.
This position requires an in depth understanding of the litigation life cycle, litigation technology, and electronic discovery. This individual must have the ability to handle a varied docket of cases with experience in local, State, and Federal Court cases.
