A Typical Day

As a Coordinator, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for patients while helping ensure the day-to-day operations of our Radiology department run smoothly. Your responsibilities may include:

• Communicating effectively with other areas of the department, hospital and physician offices to coordinate patient activities
• Coordinating all patient appointments after gathering and receiving approval from the radiologist
• Answering telephone calls, responding to patient inquiries, and directing information to the appropriate team members.
• Utilizing electronic medical records, scheduling, and insurance verification systems to maintain accurate patient information.
• Collaborating with clinical and administrative team members to support efficient patient flow and program operations.

To Be Considered

Qualified candidates are required to have a HS Diploma or equivalent and knowledge of medical terminology. And AHA BLS is preferred.
