Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in Springfield, Massachusetts at Colony Care at Home INC

Make a difference in the lives of our clients! Colony Care at Home is seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants to provide personal care and support to clients in their homes or facilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and other personal care
• Assist with transfers and mobility using canes, walkers, and wheelchairs
• Meal preparation and assistance with feeding as needed
• Light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and changing linens
• Medication reminders, errands, shopping, and appointments as outlined in the care plan
• Monitor and report changes in client condition
• Complete daily documentation and maintain client confidentiality

• Completed and approved 60-hour PCA course
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be 18 or older
• Reliable and compassionate with the ability to follow a client’s care plan
• Previous experience preferred, but not required

Please note: Clients are generally able to perform up to 50% of their personal care independently. This position does not involve full transfers.
