Position Information

The Assistant Equipment Manager is responsible for issuing, laundering, repairing, maintaining, and inventorying athletic uniforms, apparel, footwear, and equipment for 17 Division I sports in Intercollegiate Athletics at UC Riverside. Responsibilities include monitoring orders, receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, keeping accurate inventory records, and ensuring strict compliance with NCAA, Big West Conference, and university regulations. The role delivers exceptional customer service to coaches, staff, and the campus community while providing event support for contests, setting up venues, lining fields, maintaining clean facilities, and assisting with general facility needs.The full salary range for the Assistant Equipment Manager is $55,728.72 - $76,462.56 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $65,000.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.
