Willis Knighton South is seeking a dedicated, experienced surgical technologist to work seamlessly with our clinical and non-clinical staff in the operating room. This candidate should be able to anticipate each surgical step to ensure the procedure goes as smoothly as possible for the surgeon and the patient. Each team member must have the willingness to participate in a rotating call schedule and work creative hours to complete the tasks in a timely and organized fashion.
The preferred candidate will have a consistent work history and must be a graduate of an accredited program for surgical technologists. Your job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to; assisting surgical staff members, ensuring each patient receives optimal care, following all the national patient safety goals, assisting with case preparation, assisting in draping patients, instrument counts, assuring all supplies are available and equipment is in proper working order prior to all procedures. An orientation will be provided based on your experience and level of comfort.
