Role and Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise data architecture supporting institutional reporting, analytics, and integrations.
• Analyze and document Ellucian Banner data models, tables, and relationships to support data-driven initiatives.
• Support data warehouse design and integration with reporting tools such as Cognos, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Provide technical documentation and training to support end users and IT staff.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, database design, or data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Ellucian Banner tables, data schema, and ERP integrations.
• Familiarity with reporting and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, etc.).
• Understanding of data governance, data modeling (ER/Dimensional), and metadata management.
• Knowledge of student information systems (SIS) and higher education data standards is a plus.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in higher education, with knowledge of Student Information Systems (SIS), Finance, and HR.
• Experience with large-scale ERP platforms, particularly Ellucian's ecosystem.
• Strong technical background in solution delivery and data architecture.
• Expertise in data governance, data management, and data engineering is highly beneficial.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
