* Arrest persons with and without warrants and assist in prosecutions as required<br>* Investigate complaints assigned and take appropriate actions, as well as conducting any follow up investigations necessary<br>* Issue appropriate warnings, citations, and summons to violators as guided by departmental policy<br>* Subdue resisting/violent persons<br>* Handcuff and transport suspect or prisoners<br>* Mediate civil disputes<br>* Participate in formal training programs<br>* Perform other tasks as needed
* Have COMPLETED a WI-approved LESB Police Academy OR be currently enrolled, OR be eligible for reciprocity.&nbsp;<br>* Be a United States Citizen<br>* Be at least 20 1/2 years of age at the time of application submission<br>* Have a valid drivers license<br>* Have no felony or domestic abuse related convictions<br>* Have a high school diploma or GED/HSED<br>* Have an Associates Degree, OR&nbsp;a Bachelors Degree in any field, OR at LEAST 60 earned credits from a two or four year college institution
