About the FacilityIsuzu North America Corporation is investing approximately $280 million to build a new manufacturing facility in Greenville County, South Carolina.
This 1-million-square-foot, state-of-the-art production plant, located on more than 200 acres, will feature a flexible manufacturing line capable of producing both internal combustion and electric vehicles.

The Kitting Team Lead supports daily kitting operations and coordinates material preparation activities to ensure accurate, timely delivery of parts to the production line.
This role provides floor-level leadership, assists with workload coordination, supports inventory accuracy initiatives, and ensures line-side material readiness in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Kitting Team Lead works closely with Kitting Associates, Production Control, Logistics, Warehouse, and Assembly teams to maintain uninterrupted production flow, support material accuracy, and promptly address operational issues that impact production readiness.
QualificationsEducation- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or technical coursework preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, materials, or kitting operations
- Experience with material handling, line-side support, and inventory control
- Prior team lead or informal leadership experience required
- Experience in startup or high-volume manufacturing environments preferred
- Experience using ERP/SAP systems, barcode scanners, and inventory management systems preferred
- Strong understanding of kitting operations, material flow, and inventory control processes
- Ability to coordinate work activities and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and escalate material shortages or inventory discrepancies
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
- Working knowledge of:
- 5S principles
- Standard work practices
- Lean material handling methods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively across production, logistics, and warehouse teams
- Support daily kitting operations to ensure materials are picked, staged, and delivered accurately and on time
- Assign and coordinate daily workloads while assisting team members with operational priorities
- Communicate production goals, schedule changes, and operational updates to the team
- Support startup, ramp-up, engineering change, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure kits are complete, accurately labeled, and sequenced according to production schedules
- Maintain accurate and timely part delivery to line-side and sub-assembly areas utilizing Just-In-Time (JIT) methodologies
- Monitor material availability and proactively communicate shortages or risks affecting production
- Support cycle counts, inventory verification, and transaction accuracy
- Investigate and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies, missing parts, and material flow issues
- Utilize ERP/WMS systems, scanners, and tracking tools to monitor material movement and kitting status
- Train and mentor Kitting Associates on standard work procedures, material handling processes, safety requirements, and quality expectations
- Promote adherence to 5S standards, inventory control processes, and safe material handling practices
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Production Control, Logistics, Warehouse, and Assembly teams to support changing production demands and scheduling adjustments
- Escalate material, quality, safety, or delivery concerns to leadership in a timely manner
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and operational readiness within kitting and staging areas
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of departmental and company objectives
