Scan Center QC Specialist (Full Time, In Office) in Elmsford, New York at MetaSource

The in-office full-time Scan Center QC Specialist is responsible for data and image quality monitoring, evaluation, and calibration scoring. This position is a critical factor in improving product quality.

Shifts: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm

Pay: $17- $18.00 per hour depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control procedures on scanned documents batches, including rescans and correction of document breaks, indexing errors.
• Ensure that all pages are correctly scanned, that there are no missing documents or double scans.
• Be able to understand each job, its differences and changes.
• Examine documents to ensure quality images.
• Examine indexed documents to insure proper keying.
• Resolve any major quality problems, as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and fingers
• Reaching, pushing, and lifting boxes between 20-40 pounds
• Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity.
• Sitting, particularly for sustained periods of time
