Stores Clerk - Union-SHB in Baltimore, Maryland at LifeBridge Health

Summary: Receives, verifies, unpacks, and stores items delivered to the kitchen; issues items to kitchen personnel, maintains inventories; assembles, measures, weighs and issues ingredients to the cold and hot production areas according to recipes.

Responsibilities: Helps management track food and paper supplies, small wares. Receives food deliveries, noting correct counts and weights to insure accuracy; checks products for quality, quantity, freshness and damage; insures credit is given for damaged goods; signs invoices to verify delivery. May assist in taking inventory and placing orders. Reports shortages or other problems to the Executive Chef, Sous Chef or other members of the management team. Notifies the Executive Chef and or Sous Chef of any spoilage, breakage, shortage or any equipment malfunctions.
