Position Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Coordinator RN at the New Brunswick campus.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in adult/executive care settings
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

  • BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire
  • At least 5 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Day Shift, 40 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, some weekend and holiday rotation
  • Full Time

Essential Functions:

  • The Registered Nurse provides nursing care in the health care system within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
  • The Registered Nurse assures safety in practice and is inclusive of the principles of evidence-based practice by maintaining a realization of own individual level of knowledge and experience and assumes responsibility for advancing knowledge of self and others of the patient care team by communication with and utilizing resource persons and programs available.
  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors.
  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for knowledge of the patient population served.
  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for supervising and directing the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient care providers.

  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, adaptability to dynamic schedules, and the ability to provide discreet, comprehensive care
  • Deliver individualized, evidence-based nursing care tailored to each client's unique health needs and preferences
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, screenings, and wellness evaluations
  • Coordinate and facilitate seamless healthcare experiences, including scheduling specialists and managing follow-up care
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion in all client interactions
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and client needs in a fast-paced environment
