SITE SUPERINTENDENT
LEAD THE SITE. DRIVE THE PROJECT.
Lead high-quality panelized construction projects across British Columbia.
Buildforth by Paradigm is hiring an experienced Site Superintendent to lead all on-site construction activities on active projects throughout British Columbia. Reporting to the Construction Manager, this role is responsible for overall site execution and directly coordinates Forepersons, employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to keep projects safe, organized, and moving forward.
You will oversee projects from mobilization through completion, including the planning and coordination of prefabricated wall- and floor-panel systems produced within the Paradigm Group. You will ensure panel delivery, crane-assisted installation, bracing, connections, sequencing, inspections, deficiencies, and trade integration are completed safely and in accordance with drawings, specifications, schedules, building codes, and quality requirements.

• Lead innovative, energy-efficient homes and community construction projects.
• Own site execution while working with modern prefabricated wall- and floor-panel systems.
• Guide Forepersons, crews, subcontractors, and trades through clear planning, communication, and accountability.
• Make a direct impact on project safety, quality, schedule, productivity, and successful turnover.
• Lead on-site project delivery from mobilization and pre-construction planning through deficiency completion and turnover.
• Direct and coordinate Forepersons, company crews, subcontractors, suppliers, crane operators, and trades, establishing clear daily priorities and accountability.
• Lead toolbox and coordination meetings and maintain look-ahead plans, task lists, labour plans, material requirements, equipment needs, and site logistics.
• Coordinate delivery, staging, lifting, installation, bracing, fastening, connection, and inspection of prefabricated wall- and floor-panel systems.
• Confirm panel layouts, openings, tolerances, connections, sequencing, and interfaces with foundations, roofs, windows, doors, mechanical, electrical, and finishing scopes.
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules, panel shop drawings, site instructions, and revisions; identify constructability concerns before they affect production.
• Submit clear Requests for Information and communicate field conditions, changes, delays, risks, progress, and decisions to the project management team.
• Monitor schedule performance and productivity, adjust sequencing and resources, and proactively resolve site, material, design, trade, and logistical constraints.
• Complete site inspections and enforce safety policies, building codes, project requirements, quality standards, and regulatory obligations.
• Manage quality-control checks, deficiencies, corrective work, inspections, documentation, and turnover readiness.
• Maintain daily reports, site records, photographs, delivery and progress information, change documentation, and tool and trailer inventories.
• Build a positive, productive site culture by coaching Forepersons, mentoring team members, and addressing concerns promptly.
• Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a comparable construction leadership role with responsibility for crews, trades, schedule, safety, and quality.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, logistics, building codes, inspections, safety requirements, and quality-control practices.
• Experience with prefabricated or panelized construction, wall-panel installation, crane-assisted erection, modular construction, or high-performance building systems is a strong asset.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, shop, and panel drawings and translate them into practical site plans.
• Strong leadership, delegation, conflict-resolution, decision-making, organization, communication, planning, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and construction management or project-tracking software.
• Construction Management, Civil Engineering, carpentry, or related education, trade certification, First Aid, and Fall Protection are assets; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable transportation, and ability and willingness to travel, work extended shifts, and adapt to changing project requirements.
