Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to fill customer orders in a fast-paced environment.
- Move products efficiently and safely using various equipment.
- Use an RF scanner gun to identify the correct products for receiving, moving, gathering, or distributing to complete customer orders.
- Document and maintain inventory records.
- Assist the Receiving Department with unloading new merchandise from trucks when needed.
- Back-up shipping/receiving loading and unloading containers.
- Support the Inventory and Returns Departments with daily operations.
- Maintain a positive attitude and foster a sense of teamwork.
- Assist other departments with work activities as needed.
- Build strong relationships within the warehouse to promote a safe and respectful working environment.
- Maintain order selection performance standards for speed and accuracy with minimal damage.
- Ensure labels and pallets are accurate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Requirements
What You Bring to the Table:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1+ years of forklift experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or transportation environment.
- Forklift/powered industrial truck certification required, with experience operating sit-down, stand-up, reach, or order-picker equipment.
- Experience using RF scanners, WMS technology, and other warehouse tools to complete and track assignments.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights using reach trucks or order pickers as required.
- Strong commitment to safety, accuracy, equipment care, teamwork, and dependable attendance.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, overtime, or extended hours based on operational needs.
