ABA Afternoon Part Time Behavior Technician in Chatham, New Jersey at Autism Learning Institute LLC

Position Summary

Provides direct 1:1 ABA therapy services under BCBA supervision, implementing individualized behavior intervention and skill-acquisition programs and supporting client development across communication, social, behavioral, and daily-living domains.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in center, home, school, and community settings as assigned.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill-acquisition programs developed by a BCBA.
• Collect and record behavioral data accurately.
• Complete session notes and required documentation timely.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and team members.
• Support development of communication, social, behavioral, and daily-living skills.
• Follow applicable BACB ethical and professional standards and ALI policies.

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of required background checks and employment requirements.
• Reliable transportation when travel between service locations is required.
• Ability to perform the physical functions necessary for direct client care, including floor-level activity and safely responding to client needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or coursework in psychology, education, early childhood education, or related field.
• Prior ABA or pediatric developmental-services experience.

• Maintain all licenses, certifications, registrations, background clearances, training, driving credentials, and other qualifications required for the position in good standing.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, ALI policies, applicable payer requirements, and professional/ethical standards.
• Perform other duties reasonably assigned consistent with the role and organizational needs.
