CONSTRUCTION PROJECT COORDINATOR

Quality Control Department

Vee-Jay is a concrete contractor committed to excellent service, quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join the Quality Control Department with documentation, communication, and coordination across commercial construction projects.

1. Review estimator takeoffs, proposals, and contracts to confirm alignment of the project scope.
2. Identify project material requirements and prepare submittals for general contractors and owners.
3. Prepare, distribute, track, and maintain project documentation, including material submittals, LEED documents, warranties, and closeout records.
4. Communicate product approvals and architect/engineer submittal comments promptly to project managers and superintendents.
5. Maintain accurate, organized departmental records in the QC tracking database.
6. Review contracts, purchase orders, and invoices for accuracy; obtain approvals as required.
7. Read and interpret structural drawings and specifications relevant to the company’s work.
8. Support the development and implementation of departmental process improvements.
9. Cross-train on related departmental duties to provide coverage as needed.
