This senior leadership role sits at the heart of a global supply chain organization, responsible for shaping and executing sourcing strategies that ensure supplier excellence, cost efficiency, and resilient supply continuity. You will lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives spanning manufacturing, quality, marketing, and operations, acting as a key partner in enabling business growth and operational performance. The role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership in supplier management, negotiations, and performance governance. You will drive continuous improvement across procurement processes while ensuring strong ethical and quality standards. As a people leader, you will build and develop a high-performing sourcing team, fostering accountability and collaboration. This is a high-impact position within an international environment where decisions directly influence product availability, quality, and long-term supply stability.
Lead and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize supplier performance, reduce costs, and ensure long-term supply continuity across global operations.
- Develop sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives, including supplier development, geographic sourcing models, and risk mitigation.
- Manage supplier selection, qualification, negotiation, and contract execution, ensuring strong commercial and service-level agreements.
- Oversee supplier performance management frameworks, including scorecards, business reviews, escalation processes, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Quality and cross-functional teams to plan and execute supplier audits and ensure timely resolution of findings.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Marketing, and Operations to support product launches, material availability, and production readiness.
- Lead, coach, and develop the sourcing team while embedding a culture of accountability, ethics, and continuous improvement.
Extensive experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain leadership roles, ideally within complex international environments.
- Strong expertise in supplier management, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing development.
- Proven ability to lead supplier performance programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching, team development, and performance management.
- Solid understanding of procurement systems, ERP tools, and supplier management platforms.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior level.
