Technical Product Owner

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Product Owner based in the United States.

This role is a key driver in shaping and delivering complex healthcare technology products that directly support improved outcomes for patients and communities. You will own the full product lifecycle, from ideation and strategic roadmap development through execution and continuous improvement. Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, you will translate complex needs into scalable, data-driven solutions. The environment is highly collaborative, involving close partnership with engineering, architecture, operations, and clinical teams. You will play a central role in prioritizing initiatives that maximize business impact while ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational requirements. This position is ideal for a product leader who thrives in complex, mission-driven, and fast-evolving healthcare technology ecosystems.

Accountabilities
  • Own and manage the full product lifecycle, from ideation and intake through roadmap execution, delivery, and continuous enhancement of healthcare technology solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across business units, ensuring clear communication and alignment with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams.
  • Develop and maintain strategic and technical product roadmaps based on deep understanding of user needs, business priorities, and industry trends.
  • Prioritize enhancement requests and product ideas, balancing customer impact, technical feasibility, and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, design, and operations teams to deliver scalable and effective technical solutions.
  • Define and track product success metrics, value propositions, and business cases to ensure measurable outcomes and ROI.
  • Lead participation in cross-functional workgroups and contribute to product strategy, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for assigned products, supporting stakeholders with guidance, insights, and product expertise.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare technology product management, including significant experience as a Product Owner in regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy or PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) ecosystems, highly preferred for success in the role.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end product ownership, including strategy, roadmap definition, and delivery execution.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with engineering and technical teams.
  • Strong ability to translate complex business and clinical requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in prioritization frameworks, metrics definition, and outcome measurement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities in complex, regulated environments.
  • Bonus: experience working in healthcare operations, clinical systems, or PBM-related platforms.
