Overview Of the Role
As a full-time Retail Supervisor, you will oversee retail execution, support store-level merchandising, and help drive brand performance across grocery stores and supermarkets in Connecticut, New York, Northern NJ, Pennsylvania – Scranton & surrounding areas.
This position requires regular travel within the assigned territory to visit stores, support retail representatives, and ensure manufacturer standards are being met. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be willing to travel throughout the locations listed below:
- Connecticut
- New York
- Northern NJ
- Pennsylvania – Scranton and surrounding areas.
Salary: $55,000 / year
Schedule: Mon - Fri / 35 hours per week.

What you will do
- Supervise, train, and support retail representatives in the assigned territory.
- Ensure products from multiple manufacturers are properly merchandised, stocked, rotated, and presented in stores.
- Execute and monitor promotional displays, point-of-sale materials, new item cut-ins, and resets.
- Conduct store visits to evaluate conditions, identify opportunities, and follow up on execution needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store management, retail associates, manufacturer partners, and internal sales teams.
- Communicate store issues, competitive activity, out-of-stocks, and execution updates in a timely and professional manner.
- Previous retail, grocery, merchandising, sales, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel within the assigned territory.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform basic merchandising tasks in a retail environment.
- Must be organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Comfortable using a tablet, phone, or computer to report store activity and communicate updates.
