In this role, you'll do more than draw blood, you'll help ensure each patient has a safe, respectful, and reassuring experience. From confirming identity and performing venipunctures to labeling and processing samples for lab analysis, your attention to detail will support quality care at every step. You'll follow strict safety and documentation standards while also creating a clean, well-organized workspace.

Requirements:

We'd love to meet someone who brings phlebotomy certification, 2-5 years of hands-on experience, and a strong understanding of lab processing. Familiarity with medical terminology, functional medicine, and CPR is a plus.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and patient service skills, with the ability to create a positive and supportive patient experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in blood collection techniques and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology; CPR certification preferred.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification
  • Minimum of two (2) years of phlebotomy experience or related experience in a medical setting preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and engage with principles of functional medicine.
  • Experience working with electronic medical record systems and databases preferred
