In this role, you will oversee human resources, finance operations, compliance, and organizational processes while partnering closely with executive leadership. Working cross-functionally, you'll lead strategic initiatives that improve efficiency, enhance employee experience, and support long-term organizational success. - Lead the organization's human resources function, overseeing the full employee lifecycle including recruitment support, onboarding, performance management, employee development, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations while managing HR policies, employee records, multi-state registrations, required filings, and staff training programs.
- Oversee organizational operations by developing and improving policies, standard operating procedures, administrative systems, vendor relationships, contracts, and technology platforms.
- Drive operational excellence through workflow optimization, performance reporting, risk management initiatives, insurance renewals, cybersecurity coordination, and AI policy implementation.
- Support financial planning by contributing to annual budgeting, forecasting, expense monitoring, invoice processing, financial documentation, audit preparation, grant reporting, and collaboration with external accounting partners.
- Maintain effective operational systems for document management, internal communications, project coordination, and administrative processes across departments.
- Partner with executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives, monitor organizational performance, and strengthen operational infrastructure that supports sustainable growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects, facilitate staff training, support organizational events, and promote a culture of compliance, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- 7–12 years of progressive experience in operations, human resources, nonprofit administration, or organizational management, including leadership responsibilities.
- Significant experience partnering directly with executive leadership to develop and execute operational strategies.
- Strong knowledge of multi-state employment regulations, HR compliance, payroll administration, and state registration requirements.
- Experience working with Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) and HR information systems; experience with BambooHR is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of nonprofit operations, financial management, budgeting, compliance, and organizational governance.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, operational policies, and administrative systems.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee financial processes, budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, and collaboration with accounting partners.
- Experience coordinating IT systems, cybersecurity initiatives, risk management, and organizational compliance programs.
- Proficiency with business tools such as ADP, Google Workspace, Bill.com, Salesforce, Toggl, or similar operational platforms.
- Excellent project management, analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Availability to work standard Eastern Time business hours and travel occasionally for meetings and organizational events.
- Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $135,000.
