Applicants must have a PhD in Neuroscience or a related field and have demonstrated excellence in developmental neuroscience, molecular genetics, neural circuit analysis, and quantitative behavioral approaches. Competitive candidates will have extensive experience combining pathway-specific genetic tools, anatomical circuit mapping, molecular techniques, and quantitative behavioral analyses to investigate defined cortical projection neuron populations across development and adulthood. Experience studying corticospinal, cortico-brainstem, or other descending motor pathways, including the mechanisms governing axon targeting, circuit remodeling, and functional recovery following stroke or spinal cord injury, is particularly desirable.
Applicants should have at least 3 years of postdoctoral experience.
