This role sits at the intersection of Workday expertise and strategic client advisory, focusing on delivering end-to-end payroll solutions that create measurable business impact. You will work closely with clients to translate complex payroll and business requirements into scalable Workday configurations. Operating in a fast-paced consulting environment, you will lead critical phases of implementation, from design workshops through deployment. The role blends hands-on technical configuration with high-level advisory responsibilities, requiring both depth in Workday Payroll and the ability to guide stakeholders effectively. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are not only technically sound but also aligned with long-term operational goals. - Partner with clients to assess payroll and business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
- Lead and support the configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday Payroll functionality across multiple project phases.
- Facilitate design sessions and requirements workshops, converting complex needs into clear implementation plans.
- Deliver consulting expertise across projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring timely and value-driven outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal and client teams to ensure alignment, knowledge sharing, and successful solution delivery.
- Apply a problem-solving mindset to simplify processes and optimize payroll solutions for long-term efficiency.
- Proven hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday Payroll in a consulting or internal practitioner role.
- Strong understanding of payroll operations, with the ability to translate business needs into Workday solutions.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments managing multiple priorities and delivering against project milestones.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on clarity, structure, and execution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in team-oriented environments.
- U.S. work authorization is required; candidates must be based in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Additional experience in Workday HCM, PECI integrations, global payroll, or payroll accounting is considered a strong advantage.
- Exposure to Finance collaboration, M&A integrations, or organizational restructuring is a plus.
