You might be the ideal candidate for the position of sales development representative. As our next sales development representative, we need someone who can turn potential customers into qualified leads through strong persuasion skills. We need someone who knows how to use social media to find prospects and reach out to them. Our ideal applicant is a great dealmaker, enjoys talking to people on the phone and in person, and has previous experience in customer service or sales. Base guaranteed + upside earnings (paid whichever is higher every pay period) with higher earning potential as you build your pipeline!
Strong first-year earning potential: $60,000 – $85,000+

Variety in your day: office, showroom, and customer interaction
Relationship-driven sales (not just cold calling)
Compensation:$60,000 - $85,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Prospect leads by doing a variety of actions, such as calling, texting, or emailing individuals, and chatting with them at events
- Appear at in-person or online trainings, meetings, trade shows, and sales events
- Work with sales management to reach goals and improve the sales process
- Strategize how to use social media like Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media outlets
- Identify and create high-value business opportunities for our sales team to pursue and close
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive repeat business
- Proactively generate leads, follow up consistently, and develop commercial and residential accounts
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through project completion
- Prepare accurate estimates using measurements, take-offs, and project details
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospects and current customers to identify opportunities and ensure satisfaction
- Address and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
- Stay informed on products, market trends, and competitive activity
- Participate in networking and professional events to grow business relationships
- Track and document all sales activities, communications, and customer interactions
- Utilize company systems and meet performance metrics and KPIs
Qualifications:
- You are an organized, detail oriented self-starter who loves contributing your team’s goals
- Understanding the sales process and how to enter information into client databases desired
- Stellar communication, presentation, persuasion, interpersonal, and negotiating skills
- Strong customer service experience is necessary for this position
- High school diploma or GED is required, bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to build relationships and solve problems in a consultative sales environment
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for measurements and estimating (square footage, etc.)
- Comfortable using computers and standard business software (Microsoft Office preferred)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Adaptable with a strong sense of initiative
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to customer locations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform both office and on-site work
