Job Title: Physician Support Specialist
Location: Scottsdale, Arizona (East Bell Road and the 101)
Compensation: $24 - $26 per hour
Employment Type: Full Time with Benefits (Medical, Life, Dental, Vision, 401k)
Schedule: On-site Monday through Friday. 8-hour day shift. No nights, no weekends, and no major holidays!

Position Overview:
The Physician Support Specialist supports patient onboarding, care coordination, nutraceutical support, and medication logistics within a fast-paced integrative medical environment. This role is responsible for coordinating medical records, communicating with patients and internal departments, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting with nutraceutical and targeted therapy processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to thrive in a collaborative healthcare setting
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Patient Onboarding & Care Coordination
- Track new patient start dates, cancellations, and outstanding records needs through Salesforce.
- Review and verify incoming medical records for completeness.
- Communicate with patients regarding lab work, provider visits, and onboarding requirements.
- Confirm appointments and coordinate updates with internal care teams.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to support continuity of care.
Clinical Documentation
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient communication logs within Salesforce and internal systems.
- Ensure New Patient Tracking documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with laboratory and clinical teams regarding patient updates and care needs.
Nutraceutical & Medication Logistics Support
- Assist with nutraceutical coordination, inventory support, shipment tracking, and patient follow-up communications.
- Support medication logistics processes including prescription coordination, prior authorizations, insurance communications, and targeted therapy tracking.
- Maintain accurate records and communication documentation related to nutraceuticals and medication logistics.
Compliance
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and company policies and procedures.
- Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and compassionate patient care standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous healthcare, patient coordination, or medical office experience required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Experience with EMR systems and/or Salesforce preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a patient-focused mindset.
