KEY SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Rapid and Accurate Invoice Processing
- Processes approved invoices within 2 days for EPRO and same day for property/Corporate demands.
- Prioritizes invoices to maximize cash discounts and payment terms.
- Scans, processes, and posts vendor invoices, expense reports, and demand checks into DataPlus.
Quality Control and Compliance
- Ensures all invoices are properly documented, reviewed for accuracy, and confirmed to prevent duplicate payments before posting.
- Resolves duplicate payment issues and recovers funds as needed, while adhering to weekly and month-end closing schedules.
Vendor and Stakeholder Communication
- Responds to all vendor inquiries, both internal and external (phone & email) within 24 hours.
- Assists the properties in research and resolution of AP questions.
Recordkeeping and Documentation
- Maintains files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- Maintains AP files and various daily, weekly, and monthly AP-related spreadsheets and reports.
Organizational Efficiency and Support
- Supports the overall accounts payable process by ensuring timely, compliant, and efficient handling of all responsibilities.
- Facilitates smooth operations through diligent attention to detail, process adherence, and effective problem resolution.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma and at least 2 years of accounts payable experience required.
- Full cycle accounts payable experience with Windows-based accounting systems and MS Office proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail, discipline, and analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent invoice editing, documentation, research, and multi-tasking skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication, relationship-building abilities, and capacity to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
