Salary range: A competitive salary commensurate with experience will be offered for this position. The target is a range of $190,000 - $200,000.

What You’ll Do:
We are seeking an experienced technology professional to serve as the primary owner and manager of the Aspire platform, supporting both the Commercial Finance and Municipal Finance business lines. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this individual will drive platform stability, lead IT change management, automate reporting and operational processes, build out the new municipal finance ecosystem within Aspire, and act as the primary liaison for IT and SOX audit requests related to these businesses. The ideal candidate brings strong platform management expertise, IT/technical background, a strong understanding of the leasing business, combined with a practical business partnership mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Management & IT Change Management
- Serve as the primary system owner and subject matter expert for the Aspire platform across the Commercial Finance and Municipal Finance teams.
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT change management activities for Aspire, including evaluation, testing, communication, and deployment of platform enhancements, upgrades, and configuration changes.
- Coordinate with the Aspire vendor and internal IT to assess the impact of new releases and ensure seamless integration with existing workflows and business processes.
- Develop and maintain change management documentation including impact assessments, testing scripts, and release notes; establish governance processes for platform change review and approval.
Reporting Automation & Ongoing Reporting Management
- Lead Aspire related automation of existing manual reporting processes across both business lines, reducing operational burden and improving data accuracy and timeliness.
- Own the long-term management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all Aspire-generated reports, ensuring ongoing accuracy and alignment with evolving business requirements.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver new reporting capabilities as the commercial and municipal finance businesses continue to grow and evolve.
Process Automation
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify and facilitate opportunities to automate manual, repetitive, or inefficient processes within both business lines using Aspire capabilities and complementary tools.
- Lead design and implementation of these automation solutions from requirements gathering through deployment; document all automated workflows and maintain a library of automation assets for ongoing reference and audit purposes.
Municipal Finance Ecosystem Build-Out
- Spearhead the establishment of a new Municipal Finance ecosystem within Aspire leveraging the existing commercial finance setup, including design and configuration of workflows, data structures, and reporting frameworks tailored to muni finance business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Municipal Finance leadership to define requirements, validate solutions, and drive platform adoption; develop a roadmap for ongoing expansion and maturation of the muni finance presence within Aspire.
Business Partnership
- Act as a trusted day-to-day technology partner for both Commercial Finance and Municipal Finance teams, providing responsive support, guidance, and Aspire platform expertise.
- Facilitate regular touchpoints with business stakeholders to understand priorities, surface platform opportunities, and communicate the status of in-flight initiatives; translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Proactively identify platform-related risks or gaps and bring forward recommendations to address them.
IT & SOX Compliance Liaison
- Serve as the single point of contact for all Aspire-related IT audit and SOX compliance requests affecting Commercial Finance and Municipal Finance; manage the end-to-end response process including gathering documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Maintain an organized repository of platform controls documentation, user access records, and audit evidence; partner with IT Risk & Compliance and Internal Audit to proactively address control gaps and implement remediation as needed.
- Stay current with relevant SOX IT general controls requirements as they apply to the Aspire platform and ensure the bank’s control environment remains audit-ready at all times.
What Do You Need?
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT platform management, business systems administration, or a related technology role within financial services or banking.
- Demonstrated experience managing a commercial lending, leasing, or finance platform; experience with Aspire or a comparable commercial finance system strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of leading IT change management efforts in a regulated banking or financial services environment, including impact assessment, testing, and deployment.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing process and reporting automation solutions; proficiency with relevant tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, or comparable platforms) is a strong plus.
- Experience supporting SOX IT general controls compliance, including audit request management, controls documentation, and user access governance.
- Exceptional business partnership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
- Strong project management capabilities; ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with competing priorities and deliver results with a high degree of independence.
- High integrity, strong judgment, and a bias toward ownership and execution; experience operating in a complex, fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field; equivalent work experience will be considered.
Technology Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficiency with reporting and data tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable); ability to quickly learn and effectively use Customers Bank systems and the Aspire platform.
- Experience with Aspire or comparable commercial/municipal finance platforms strongly preferred; familiarity with IT change management methodologies and SOX ITGC control frameworks required.
