What You’ll Do

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Assist attorneys in reviewing and assessing the merits of clients’ Personal Injury claims by organizing, reviewing, and summarizing records, documents, and evidence to support case evaluation and valuationSupport attorneys in Personal Injury matters by drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents. Prepare filings, coordinate service, and ensure accuracy and timeliness in all submissionsAssist in the development and execution of case strategies by conducting legal research, summarizing medical records, organizing evidence, preparing demand packages, and supporting negotiations with insurance carriersServe as a primary point of contact for clients regarding case status, document requests, and procedural updates, maintaining professional, consistent, and compassionate communication throughout the life of the caseSupport litigation efforts by managing discovery, preparing exhibit lists, organizing trial binders, coordinating depositions, and assisting with trial and hearing preparationOrganize and maintain case files, track deadlines and statutes, update case management systems, and coordinate with internal teams, experts, and external vendors to ensure smooth case progressionUphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and compliance with all applicable legal rules, firm policies, and regulatory requirements.

Maximizes case value through strong advocacy, sound judgment, and strategic litigation executionMoves cases efficiently through the litigation lifecycle to support faster resolutions and healthier cash flowProtects and elevates the TopDog Law brand through professionalism, preparation, and credibility with courts, opposing counsel, and clientsReduces risk and rework by spotting issues early, making decisive recommendations, and communicating clearly across teamsSupports scale by following and improving litigation processes that allow the firm to grow without sacrificing quality

Your ability to balance speed, strategy, and quality ensures clients are well-served, teams stay aligned, and the firm continues its rapid, disciplined growth.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 6–12 months, success in this role looks like:

You are a reliable, detail-oriented partner to the attorney, consistently keeping cases organized, moving forward, and deadline-compliantYou proactively identify issues, missing information, and next steps—reducing bottlenecks and surprisesYou maintain accurate, well-organized files that allow attorneys to quickly understand case posture and strategyYou communicate effectively with clients, medical providers, and internal teams, building trust and confidenceYou help increase attorney efficiency and case velocity, contributing to stronger outcomes and client satisfaction

Qualifications

Required:

A minimum of 3–7 years of experience supporting attorneys in pre-litigation and litigated personal injury matters on cases in New YorkStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience reviewing and summarizing medical recordsAbility to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently while collaborating with a team

Nice to Have:

Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate (not required)Experience in high-volume or fast-growing law firmsFamiliarity with Georgia court rules and proceduresExperience with case management software (e.g., Filevine, Clio, SmartAdvocate)Comfort working in evolving systems and processesBilingual in the Spanish language
