Accountabilities:

As an Enterprise Risk Management (Financial Risk) Audit Officer, you will be responsible for executing audit engagements, evaluating financial risk controls, and supporting continuous improvement across risk management practices.

  • Execute risk-based audit and control consulting engagements following established internal audit methodologies.
  • Support the full audit lifecycle, including planning, fieldwork, testing, documentation, reporting, and issue follow-up activities.
  • Assess financial risk areas including market risk, credit risk, trading credit risk, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk.
  • Prepare audit reports, communicate findings, and provide recommendations to audit leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support issue remediation processes by monitoring action plans and helping ensure timely closure of identified risks.
  • Perform control testing and evaluate the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and operational processes.
  • Build strong working relationships with business teams and contribute insights on internal control improvements.
  • Stay updated on audit practices, regulatory expectations, and industry standards.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at improving audit effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced audit or risk professional with strong financial services knowledge, analytical capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

  • 5+ years of experience in internal audit, financial risk management, or related functions within the financial services industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or CPA are preferred.
  • Experience executing or reviewing financial risk audits, including market, credit, interest rate, or liquidity risk assessments.
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, audit methodologies, risk management practices, and regulatory expectations.
  • Ability to analyze complex information, identify risks, and develop practical recommendations.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team.
  • Professional attitude, adaptability, and confidence when engaging with senior stakeholders.
